O o T a SH o O band was formed about 4 years ago when Nish ,Mamado & Somah"a group of 3 friends who are highly fascinated by the great late singer Ahmed Monib & king of the Nubian song Mohammed Mounir" started to sing together different masterbieces for their favourite stars in faculties,gardens and youth gatherings . O o T a SH o O band was highly appreciated by people of all ages, particularly teenagers & youths.
Later on ,the band made a high jump(!), when they met a gifted Nubian musician called Mostafa Al-Shimi "singer & luth player".Mustafa Al-Shimi admired the band's style & he agreed to join them .Now , the Oothashoozz -as I like to call them- have their own songs that are written by their close friends as well as a political-oriented song "Homma Meen We7na meen" which was written by the great Egyptian poet Ahmed Fouad Nejm "Fajoumy".
Regarding my relationship with the band, I forgot to mention that Nish is my brother ,while Mamado & Somah are close friends. I have written 3 songs for the band which are "Gabadouni Metlabbes","7abeeby 7obbo" & "bek2sy".Actually, I m very proud of O o T a SH o O and I wish them the best of luck.
